New Year's Celebration

Since the babies are still sick - we decided to stick close to home for New Year's Eve. We had a small celebration with the kids. We had yummy Nachos for dinner.
Then we all spent time coloring together. All the big kids love coloring - but Julius especially loves it right now. He was in heaven with Mom and Dad taking turns coloring with him. I think we watched a movie at some point...but I can't remember what it was.
It was fun just to relax and enjoy spending time with our children. At the end of the night the kids popped poppers of confetti and went right to sleep.
Happy New Year!

What a fun night! Sometimes it is nice to just be by yourselves, especially with such cute kids!

Yeah! Happy New Year to you too! The days of coloring. Maddy is pretty much the only one who will, by her own choice, sit and color. I suppose that's what happens when they get older.

Nachos looked great. Never thought of putting all the treats in the veggie tray thingy. Build your own with less mess, I like it.

Still picking up the popper guts!

I love how you guys celebrate. What a loving family you have! Nice picture of the two of you. Did you guys take it?

By the way, Todd fell asleep by 9:30 and went to bed. I stayed up and wrote in my journal, listened to music, then went to bed. Not the partying type I guess!

I don't know Mandi those nachos look pretty yummy. Maybe we will have to swap food ideas for next year!
And our kids woul dhave liked to stay up later but we wanted to watch Batman and they are not allowed to watch it. I think next year we will at least let the older ones try to stay up!
I love the doll on the bed to surprise your parents..that is the funniest thing I have seen in a long time!

Love all the pics! Family nights are so fun...looks like your kids had a blast! We also get asked, "are you done now!?" People definitely say some interesting things! Hope your day is going well!
