Happy, Happy Birthday!

Julius turns 5 today! He ran into our room this morning and said "Am I five now?!"

He's so excited to go to school this fall and be a BIG boy like his friend Micah.

He is such a blessing to our family...He makes me laugh every day.
We let him open one of his presents early... this is him wearing his new apron.

I LOVE YOU JULIUS!

Happy Birthday - to YOU!!!

Spring Blossoms

My friend Amber has some gorgeous pics of spring flowers on her blog and inspired me to take some pictures around our yard....
The first two are of our plum tree and the second two are of my phlox.

Finally some great weekend weather...

The weather this weekend was so NICE! We haven't done anything fun on Saturday for a long time so Saturday we made a picnic and took the kids to the park. On Sunday after church and dinner we walked over to the school and tried flying kites. We had a really fun time!

THE OFFICE

Three quotes from last nights episode:
- "That is sort of an oaky afterbirth." - Michael
- "Sometimes I think she holds onto faxes." - Angela

Jim Halpert: Would you write down your e-mail 'cause I have just so many questions.
Dwight's Babysitter: E-mail?
Jim Halpert: Never mind.

It was good...great in fact...I only wish it would have lasted an hour. We recorded it and watched it again as soon as it was over. Ahhhh...Good times! Jan is such a psycho control freak weirdo - I could have died. Makes you feel sorry for Michael - almost. Dwight, as always, never fails to make me laugh until I cry. Love him!

Trying to talk Tony into naming one of our boys Dwight...you should hear the kids say "D..Wite" It's awesome! Derek and Dwight...LOVE it!
Anyway...glad to finally have ONE show to watch. American Idol just doesn't do it for me anymore.
YAY for THE OFFICE!!!!!

And another quote (not from last night):
"Guess what? I have flaws. What are they? Oh I donno, I sing in the shower? Sometimes I spend too much time volunteering. Occasionally I'll hit somebody with my car. So sue me-- no, don't sue me. That is opposite the point I'm trying to make." - Michael

SO Excited!

6 hours to go....for some PB and J

Pam Beesly and Jim

Today's the BIG DAY!!!!!

Here's another clue:
"I keep various weaponry strategically placed around the office. I saved Jim's life with a can of pepper spray I had velcroed under my desk. People say, 'Oh, it's dangerous to keep weapons in the home or the work place.' Well I say, 'It's better to be hurt by someone you know accidentally, than by a stranger on purpose.'"

TWIGS....

So my most recent pregnancy craving has been for a box of TWIGS....I've been searching for them everywhere! I asked Tony if he wouldn't PLEASE bring me home a box of them tonight...NO LUCK! So I decided I'd search the internet and find some at a random online grocery store. Well...turns out they've been discontinued. I am devastated! I've been craving them for about 3 weeks...if anyone has an old dusty box of twigs crackers tucked away in the pantry - please send them my way! My ever expanding pregnant tummy will thank you...

Tomorrow is a big day....

I am SO excited for April 10th!

Here's the clue:

"It saves you a trip to the store for a can of expensive goose grease..."

Family Game Night

Yesterday for preschool - I taught Julius how to play Yahtzee and UNO. He won Yahtzee and he won 3 out of 6 games of UNO. WOW!
He was so excited...Then for Family Home Evening we all played Yahtzee...it took a little longer than we expected so we had to end the game early. I am so excited that they are old enought to start playing games...It's one of my favorite things to do especially when I'm camping (that won't be happening THIS summer- we'll have to shoot for next year). But, by next summer they should be pros at UNO and Yahtzee...Now I'm just waiting for them to learn SCRABBLE!
