It's better late than never, right? We celebrated Braeden and Bronwyn's Birthday on November 28th. They had a small party - their first "friends" party. Annika, Mason, Kaisley, Tysen, and TOMMY came. (Bronwyn wants to marry Tommy-he's not so sure yet, but we've got a few years to convince him).
My children have come to expect four things for their birthdays: cake, streamers, balloons and a pinata.
Easy enough. (Thanks Elizabeth for the spider cake idea!)I tried to put a little more effort into this birthday considering last year they got a day old cake from Walmart and $5 Barbies from the black friday sales. I think they really enjoyed themselves and they got spoiled with lots of great gifts from friends and family - thanks everyone!
After cleaning up from the party we headed to the Botanical "Garden Aglow" which was AWESOME! (sorry about the pictures...gotta learn how to use the camera)Then we finished the evening at Red Robin - our family favorite for Birthdays. Happy Birthday my sweeties!

Ohmygosh, I can't believe how much bigger they look in those pix, sweetpea!!! Aaacckkkk, just gorgeous and so cute. Miss Pink looks so much more mature now than 4 months ago. Please give her smooches for me and I'm hoping I get out to see ya soon.
Smooches for all the guys also!!!

Happy Birthday! I forgot that I share the same birthday with them. I too have yet to post about it so you are right on target.
Happy B-Day B's!!!
Cool spider, I almost thought that it was a Halloween cake and the pink petals are perfect! Connie would be proud!
Oh, they're getting so big! Soon they'll be off to college and everything.
Garden Aglow... I just might have to bribe the hubby and farmers to go! Looks beautiful!

Happy Birthday. Those cakes are super cute Mandy. I have a hard time making ONE, I can't imagine planning for two!!
And if we didn't have 9 children between the two of us I would say LETS MEET AT RED ROBIN!! I LOVE that place too. Are you signed up with them online? Your kids each will get a free kids meal for their birthday and adults get a free hamburger of choice!
That flower cake is totally adorable! I might have to steal that idea for next year with the twins ;o) Happy birthday to your kiddos, they are lucky to have such a great mom!
I just discovered your blog and your family is beautiful!
What great cakes! I have yet to develop my talents in the cake decorating department. I may have to get creative for Joseph's next birthday!
This is funny, I was just going to say, "GREAT CAKES!" really, they are very cute and fun. But--then I noticed the Emily above. Hmmm? I'm an Emily with a Joseph too. I had to check her profile just to make sure it wasn't my doppledanger. ;-)
That's funny! I have to keep checking to see which Emily it is too...
I must add a disclaimer...I am NOT a cake making person. AT ALL. But the kids saw cakes on other blogs and wanted their own special cakes too. Bronwyn saw her cousin Sylvia's flower cake (which was WAY to complicated for me) and requested her own flower cake. My fried Elizbeth made a spider cake and Braeden saw it and had to have one. It was really easy...I'll use that idea again for sure. So there you have it.
You are such an awesome mom! Will you do my birthday party next year? :)
