These are some of the things that I've been busy working on:
This is a mini wall hanging quilt I made for fall. It was my first time trying applique....and now I'm not so scared. The pumpkin, stem and bird are all appliqued and it only took me the length of one movie. I really experimented with the machine quilting on this one - lots of swirls and loops. I didn't like the quilting at first - but now I think it's fine.
This is another mini wall hanging quilt - for July, obviously. We have been working on this quilt in our church's Quilting Group. I machine quilted this in straight lines.
This next one is a baby quilt - front and back. I figured out the pattern by looking at a picture of this quilt online. I added a strip of pieces to the back which I love. I free motion quilted this with loopy daisies in each block....I really love how it turned out.
This quilt I made for Julius. I hand quilted stars in each block and hand quilted around each block. I love the orange batik binding.
I just started Henry and Hudson's quilts. I'm using Riley Blake - All Star. I'm going to use the funky pinwheel pattern again.

Wow! You are incredible. Love the quilts!
WOW, you have been VERY busy!! That would take me months and months and MONTHS to do all the quilting! You did a great job!
Hey your back! :0)
I love your quilts. They look sooo cute! So you must have a special quilting sewing machine. Are you going to try to make and sell? I bet you could get some money that way!

Mandy,
I am so impressed! I am glad that I saw them in person before your blog. They are SO AWESOME! What a talented bunch of friends I have. I am amazed by all of you!
much love,

Oh my goodness, girl! They're beautiful, the kiddos too! Love the fabs, the design, the colors... I love it all. I was just at the Joann's this morning looking for some fab to make a slipcover for my cameras and gear and I left with only two scrapbooking punches because I couldn't decide! I just need you to make them for me so my brain won't hurt so bad trying to choose. lol
Oh, I think I need to make some sweet sewing machine time. You can sew when you're asleep, right?
Love them, hugs all around!

oh my gosh you little quilter you!!! those are amazing! i am incredibly impressed mandy. i tried to call you but it seems my phone calls are so few and far between that you always change your number before i have a chance to find out. so email me your number or something. so we can have a real conversation. i love you so....
You are so incredibly talented. I am so impressed and amazed. i don't have the patience for quilting so this blows me away. This isn't the easy stuff either. I am trying so hard to sew different things other than straight lines so I plan to make this easy looking Boppy pillow cover. I am so excited. We picked the material today but I wanted to know if this orange/blue/boy stuff in the last picture was from Joann's. I LOVE it and now want another cover in those.
I love seeing your amazing projects! I've sewn my blue and red strips together for the July wall hanging, but that's as far as I've gotten! You inspire me!!
Mandy these are awesome! Nice work.
