Happy 4th of July

We went downtown for the parade....parking was free, the parade route ran right through the farmers market and we got a shaded spot. Perfect. We snacked on fresh mini doughnuts, a hand held cherry pie, kettle corn and and tore off pieces of a garlic and herb baugette. Afterwards the kids ran through a refreshing water fountain to cool off.
Julius took this one!
We finished off the day with a BBQ and fireworks with some neighboorhood friends. AWESOME.

Hey, you got a new blog background! Sorry I haven't been great about seeing if you needed an update. So this post made me super hungry reading about all of my favorites you were eating! Sounds like a lot of fun, and I love that Julius took that last picture. Way too cute!

Dang--I miss living in an actual town instead of sprawling suburbia. A parade? Yummy food? I miss those kind of 4th of July traditions!

Looks like so much fun! The kiddos are growing like weeds... With things like hand held cherry pies and kettle corn, I'd be growing too - just in a different direction! lol

I didn't know our "area" had a parade, but then again I seem to be on the late and never side of things. What a fun fourth!

I love your post! Your kids are so adorable! Julius had me laughing on Sunday; I substituted in his primary class. Fun family!
