Birthday at the Zoo

We took the kids to the zoo for Julius's birthday. It was the perfect party for him this year!

It's somebody's Birthday shout Hooray!!!

Today is Julius's Birthday!! yay Julius! Yesterday for family night we made party hats to wear for breakfast this morning. During the night some big dinosaurs left hidden gifts for him. He woke up and saw their footprints covering the sidewalk and driveway. He's been having a lot of fun this morning. Brady and Bron are having fun with the balloons and Brady is especially excited about Julius's new Spiderman scooter. Well... off to make his birthday breakfast: pancakes, hashbrowns, eggs, and bacon. Mmmmmmmmm....

These are the simple pages I made after Braeden and Bronwyn were blessed.

We had so much going on yesterday that the kids didn't get a nap. Gina and Holly (my sisters) came to visit and we were downstairs chatting for awhile after putting the twins to bed. Julius was watching Animal Planet. Gina went to check on him and this is what she found.... I think it's so cute how he has his little hands clasped! She ran down to grab my camera and snap this picture. Thanks Gina! The sisters were here for less than 24 hours but we had a great time together. My kids love them to pieces!

A couple of weeks ago I heard the kids outside giggling and screaming
about a SPIDER!!! (they're nuts about spiders) So, Tony and I go outside to investigate....
They found this little roly-poly/pill bug and thought it was a spider.


They would poke at it and scream and then wait for it to unroll and scream again... totally hilarious!

So... Julius had his first soccer game this Saturday. It was too much fun! The kids were crazy... he has one teammate that tackles everyone and one who just stands on the field and cries. Then there are Julius and Kaisley who would rather watch birds and dance around the field than kick the ball... HILARIOUS! (But he was so cute in his little soccer uniform and his shin guards that cover his knees.)

We had a huge crowd out for his game - Mom and Gina came for Easter weekend and brought Granny and Grandad with them. We love them all and were so excited to spend the weekend with them.
